Things of importance to me relevant to professional success:
1. Classes 2. Good Internship 3. Tradeversity 4. Delta Sigma Pi Semester Goals: 1. 2, A's 1, A- 2, B+ by the end of the semester 1. To get the most important academic-related thing done in the morning before 11AM 2. To have a good internship lined up for the summer of 2017 by the end of the semester/early January 3. To reach 1,000 users by the end of the first semester at each of my schools 3. To cultivate company culture within the schools that I oversee shown by having active campus managers 4. To have 75% attendance during the fall semester along with the IR or SVP for the following semester The upcoming semester will bring new challenges as I exercise my new role as regional manager for Tradeversity. I will also be taking challenging classes, attempt to have a work/life balance ect. I have a need for intense organization, will power, and inspiration so that I am achieving the most while enjoying myself as much as possible. I will set small, attainable milestone goals, maintain a minimal running schedule with almost daily use of the gym. A lack of organization in this post is evident but what it attempts to do is to get all my thoughts written down.
Inspiration: Daily affirmation, quotes, picture of a yacht Organization: Reviewing material each day (Set aside just 20min a day per class to review material whether between classes during lunch ect. Goals: 8, 4, 3. 8 short term goals reflected upon each week (trivial, specific). 4 mid semester goals (easy to reflect on these lead to success), 3 semester goals (things I find of most importance). Mid week goals might not be needed if so 4 long term goals. To be reflected upon each evening, long term read in the morning. Short term reward system: Glass of wine at night. Mentality: Work hard Play hard. I will be so successful at achieving my goals that I will reward myself on the weekends by doing 1 thing out of the ordinary that brings me happiness (golf, tennis, ;), partying. 1 Day a week of not doing anything academic related. Saturday or Sunday? NO work after Friday classes? If I work hard enough I can find the time to relax during the week which I need for my mental health. Today was a mindless day at work and yet I still maintained gym habits along with a thirst for knowledge in progressing through my current book.
I could have done a better job at refraining from checking various media platforms receptively. A need to be conscious about those things as it truly does take up minutes, which add up to hours and more. 1. I am hungry for success 2. I understand the moments in which I exist 3. I will be a success I was once told by a mentor that each day you should reflect on 3 things you could have done better, 3 things you succeeded at and 3 affirmations. Thusly as follows,
1. Wasn't thoughtful to those around me (family and friends) 2. Did not maintain fitness habit (gym) 3. Could've been more proactive in getting things done as they come (goals, TV, chores) 1. I continued a daily learning habit (coding) 2. I put myself in happy situations 3. I learned music!!!! Recognizable playing 1. I am motivated 2. I do not succumb to mediocracy 3. I am a co-founder I seek to further myself in every way possible. This blog will be a testament to the advances that I make personally and professionally. I will break habits, make habits, and see myself grow into the person I intend on being.
